Job Description: We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant educational community in Wolverhampton for a September 2024 start. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance required to thrive academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to accommodate individual learning styles.
Assist classroom teachers in implementing specialized education plans and strategies designed to meet the unique needs of each student.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed.
Collaborate closely with SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators) and other members of the school staff to develop and implement personalized learning goals and interventions.
Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers and caregivers as necessary.
Assist with the implementation of sensory integration techniques and other therapeutic interventions as required.Requirements:

Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs, preferably within a school setting.
A genuine passion for supporting the academic and social development of students with SEN.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and caregivers.
Patience, empathy, and resilience when faced with challenging situations.
Relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential.
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.Benefits:
