Job Description:

As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
Assisting the class teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Supporting students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
Monitoring and recording student progress and reporting to relevant staff.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
A relevant qualification in education or special educational needs is desirable.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.
