Long-Term SEN Teaching Assistant role in Preston (Autism Spectrum Disorder)

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school setting in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The Role:

Working alongside the class teacher, you will provide one-to-one support to a child with ASD.
You will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that caters to the child's individual needs.
You will implement strategies to help the child develop their social, communication, and academic skills.
You will collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to the child's education.
You will maintain clear and concise records of the child's progress.
You will be:

A patient, enthusiastic, and reliable individual with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
Qualified as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or possess relevant experience working with children with ASD.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with the child, parents, and colleagues.
A strong understanding of ASD and relevant teaching strategies.
Passionate about creating inclusive learning environments.
Highly organised and possess a meticulous approach to record keeping.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
