SEN Sports Coach in Chichester

Starting September

Salary: £90 – 110 per day (depending on experience)

Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

About the Role:

Supply Desk are working with a SEN school based in Chichester ages 4-16, the role of a Sports Coach will start at the beginning of the academic year in September. There is the possibility to work full or part-time, ideal for someone who wants to work between 08:30-15:30.

Job Description:

The Sports Coach role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including promoting the physical, mental and emotional health and well-being of the students. It will also involve creating an inclusive environment through pre-prepared sports lessons, encouraging participation and fostering growth within the students.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Deliver pre-prepared sports lessons and activities to students aged 4 to 16 across various sports.

-          Promote a positive and inclusive sports culture, encouraging all students to participate.

-          Adapting the lessons to suit the needs of the students

-          Ensure the safety and well-being of students during sports activities.

Requirements:

-          A nurturing and caring nature

-          GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade

-          Experience of working with children/young people

-          Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual

-          Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations

-          First Aid trained or be willing to be trained

-          Experience working with children with SEMH and SEND
