SEN SECONDARY TEACHING ASSISTANT

£90 - £110 Per day
Job Duties:
Provide support to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their academic and personal development
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning plans for SEN students
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging with learning activities
Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience working with children or young people
Knowledge of SEN strategies and support techniques
Education:
Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable
Experience:
Prior experience working in a school setting or with SEN students is advantageous
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of SEN provisions and support methods
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
Patience and empathy towards students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Working Conditions:
Work primarily within a secondary school setting
Full-time hours with regular school term schedule
Collaborate closely with teaching staff and SEN coordinators
