### The Role

You will support children who may experience:

* Behavioural difficulties and distressed behaviour

* Communication and social interaction challenges
* Difficulties with emotional regulation and transitions

### We Are Looking For Someone Who

* Has experience working with children with additional needs
* Understands autism, SEMH and trauma-informed approaches
* Can manage challenging situations calmly and safely
* Builds positive, trusting relationships with children
* Uses **positive behaviour support** rather than punitive approaches
* Provides clear, consistent boundaries and routines
* Can work effectively with families, schools and other professionals
* Believes every child has potential and deserves to feel valued, understood and successful

### What You Will Provide

You will create a **safe, nurturing and structured environment** where children can develop confidence, communication, emotional regulation, independence and positive relationships.

You will help children to understand their emotions, recognise triggers, develop coping strategies and experience success through **individualised, child-centred support**.

### Why Join Us?

This is more than a job. It is an opportunity to make a genuine difference to children and young people who may have experienced significant challenges.

If you are passionate about **understanding the child behind the behaviour** and helping young people reach their potential, we would love to hear from you.
