SEN Learning Support Worker

A specialist Alternative Provision setting in Gloucestershire is looking for a passionate SEN Learning Support Worker to join their team. You will be responsible for supporting a range of learners daily with their SEMH and academic needs as well as creating a fun, safe environment for all to learn and thrive!

As part of the role, you will work alongside and be supported by highly experienced teaching staff as well as a wide range of other education professionals. Your role will be essential in helping learners manage and understand their behaviour, engage in learning, and build social and emotional skills for life! You will be vital in creating a positive and supportive environment where all learners feel safe, valued, and understood whilst attending the provision.

Role Details:

Location - Gloucestershire based
Salary: £90 - £105 per day (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)
Start: ASAP

Assisting with specific interventions to support social and emotional progress and regulation.
Support with monitoring achievements and helping learners feel supported to reach their full potential.
Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
Supporting learners with their learning and personal development so that they feel accepted and valued.Key Qualities Academics Ltd is seeking:

Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
