Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs?
Academics are recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistants to work in specialist SEN schools across Eastbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language needs and Complex Learning Difficulties.
The Role
Full-time, Monday-Friday
Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
Work alongside experienced SEN Teachers and Therapists
Encourage learning, communication and independence
Create a positive and nurturing learning environmentWe're Looking For
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred)
A caring, patient and proactive approach
Excellent communication skills
A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
