Position: Head Of Maths ????????
Location: Thornton Heath ????
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday ⏰
Placement: Temporary (with potential for permanent) ????
Daily Rate: Paid according to your teaching scale ????
Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ✅
Responsibilities Include:
Lead and manage the Maths department, spearheading curriculum development and implementation ????
Deliver top-notch teaching to students aged 14-19 with SEMH needs, ADHD, and other behavioural challenges ????????
Craft and execute engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles ????????
Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support ????????
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment through collaboration with colleagues ????????
Skills Required:
QTS is a must-have for this role ????✨
Extensive experience in teaching Maths, preferably in a similar SEN setting ????????
Strong leadership and organisational chops to steer the department ship ⚓️????
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of every student ????????
Stellar communication skills to connect with students, colleagues, and parents/carers ????????
