*** 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN requirements
 
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team at a reputable secondary school located in Walsall, West Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement and adapt lesson plans to accommodate the diverse needs of students.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social and academic development of all students.
Assist in the assessment and tracking of students' progress, working closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).
Offer one-on-one support or small group interventions to address specific learning challenges.
Foster effective communication with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the care and education of students with special educational needs. 
Qualifications and Experience:

A degree in a relevant field, with a focus on Special Educational Needs or a related discipline.
Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
An understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students with diverse needs.
Ability to adapt and be flexible in response to the evolving needs of students and the school community.
