Location: Kidderminster (DY11)

Contact: Temporary to Full Time

Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am to 4:30pm)

Are you experienced in supporting students with special educational needs? Are you seeking an engaging new opportunity?

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a full-time Behavior Mentor position in Kidderminster. This role operates Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

We are looking for an individual to join an exceptional specialist school catering to children aged 7 to 18 with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including autism and related conditions. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support during lessons, demonstrating confidence in managing challenging behavior to ensure students' progress and engagement.

Requirements for the role include:

Full Time Availability
Previous experience in Special Educational Needs
Experience working with children
Familiarity with managing challenging behavior
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to undergo or possess an up-to-date DBS check
Passion for education
Positive and adaptable attitude
Desire to contribute to the well-being and development of young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
