Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a non-verbal pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a school based in Tower Hamlets.
The successful candidate will have:
Previous SEN experience, particularly supporting pupils with ASD
Experience working with non-verbal children
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
Knowledge of communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or visual supports (desirable)This is a full-time position, 5 days per week, starting in September
