We are currently recruiting Semi-Skilled and Skilled Operatives to join a busy modular construction and manufacturing environment based in the Catfoss area, YO25.
Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
* Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Pay Rates
* Semi-Skilled Operative: £14.32 per hour
* Skilled Operative: £16.00 per hour
* Overtime paid after 39 working hours
The Role
Working as part of a production team, duties will include:
* Ripping out and refitting modular building interiors
* Installation and fitting of modular building components
* General joinery, finishing and refurbishment work
* Use of hand and power tools
* Following technical drawings and specifications
* Carrying out repairs, modifications and upgrades to units
* Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
* Maintaining a safe and organised work area
Requirements
* Previous experience within construction, manufacturing, modular buildings, refurbishment, fit-out, joinery, or similar environments preferred
* Ability to use hand and power tools confidently
* Own basic tools required, including impact drivers, screwdrivers and other essential hand tools
* Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
* Reliable with a strong work ethic
