I am looking for a skilled labourer to work as a two-man team with a qualified bricklayer. This will be to work with an established social housing provider in the South Shields area.

This is an ongoing temporary contract for the foreseeable future.

The successful candidate will assist with carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on domestic properties across the South Shields area.

Work will include working with bricklayer carrying out minor groundworks and bricklaying repairs, as well as labouring duties.

You will receive:

£17 P/H - Umbrella
Ongoing work. The successful candidate will be expected to complete:

Planned and reactive maintenance on domestic properties
8:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week.Requirements:

Previous social housing/council house maintenance experience
Full UK driving license
Asbestos Awareness (or willingness to undertake the online course)
Working at heights (or willingness to undertake the online course)
Manual Handling (or willingness to undertake the online course)
Abrasive Wheels (or willingness to undertake the online course)
