Description:

Highways Operative (Groundworker), required to work on a local authority contract based in Felling, Gateshead starting ASAP.

This is for a minimum of 2 months work with a potential of ongoing work

Will be working as a Semi-Skilled Groundworker, working alongside a team of Highways Ops - Installing Lighting Columns, Digging out & Reinstating

Must have previous Groundworks experience - Roads, using breakers, stihl saws etc

Plant tickets are desired but not essential

Rate is £15 phr umbrella, CIS is not an option for this contract
Rate increases after 12 weeks to £16.24
39 hours per week
CV will be required for this roleIdeal candidate will have:

Previous experience working as a groundworks labourer or Groundworker
Plant tickets
Manual handling
Abrasive wheels
