Description:
Our client, an independent accountancy practice, is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a established practice with a good reputation for high-quality personal service.
The role will predominantly be accounts preparation and audit work but will also involve management accounts and drafting corporation tax computations. The accounts are completed mainly in-house but some may be carried out at client premises therefore a driving licence is essential.
The ideal individual will have strong interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and will work well in a small friendly team environment.

Working hours Monday to Friday 37 hours per week OR part time 25 hours per week across 4 or 5 days
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing accounts to TB level for a mixed portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Drafting corporation tax computations
Bookkeeping
Management accounts
Attending audits including leading junior members on audit fieldwork
Liaising with clients
Skills and experience required:
AAT / ACCA part qualified or QBE
2 years experience in an accounting position within practice
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP)
Experience with accounting software - Xero, Quick Books, Sage and CCH desired
Good working knowledge of accounting procedures
Extremely organised and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in a small team
