Semi-Senior Accountant
Lancaster
£30,000 – £35,000 DOE
Are you an experienced accountant looking to join a growing and supportive accountancy practice with a great team culture?
Our client has a team of seven accountants and, due to continued growth, is looking for an additional Semi-Senior Accountant to join the business.
Duties include:
Managing a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements.
Bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations.
Preparing VAT and tax returns.
Supporting with salaries and dividends.
Providing clients with accounting and tax guidance.
Monitoring client cash positions and providing financial advice.
Building strong, long-term client relationships.
Managing workloads and ensuring deadlines are met.
Experience required:
2+ years' experience within an accountancy practice.
Experience working with sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Experience preparing accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns.
Good knowledge of UK accounting and tax compliance.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA part-qualified would be advantageous.
