Semi Senior Accountant | Stratford, London | Full Time | £28,000-£32,000 pa
Our client is a friendly and supportive company with a passion for customer service and success.
They are seeking an individual to be part of their successful team, who has a passion to learn and progress within a dynamic and fast-growing accounting practice.
They are located near the Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford, London, E15 4HF.
The employer will consider a candidate living in the UK with sponsorship requirement.
Are you the right person for the job?
Ideally qualified or part/qualified AAT, ACCA, ACA or qualified by experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice.
Ability to manage staff
Be highly efficient and organised
Possess strong communication skills
Team player and have a good rapport with the clients
Experience in using Xero, QuickBooks, VT and Taxcalc preferred
You should be self-motivated and be able to work independently and meet deadline
What will your role look like?
Managing your own portfolio of clients for VAT Return, Person Tax Return and Accounts, by carrying out the following key duties and tasks:
Overseeing and managing all aspect of book-keeping, reviewing and submitting VAT returns
Preparation and submission of year-end accounts and tax return for companies
Preparation and submission of Self-Assessment Tax Return
Overseeing, managing work flow between the junior team members
Supervising of junior staff
Overseeing HMRC VAT compliance check with managers
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Other duties as required by the role
