Job Duties:
Provide tailored support to Key Stage 3 (KS3) students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Create and implement individualised learning plans to meet the specific requirements of each student
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic and personal development
Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student support
Required Qualifications:
Valid teaching qualification
Experience working with students with SEMH needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of SEMH issues and their impact on learning
Ability to create and deliver differentiated lessons
Knowledge of behaviour management strategies
