SEMH Tutor (Part or Full Time, Temporary)

£100 - £130 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Start date: September 2024
The School and Role
A Local Council EHC Team are looking for a SEMH Tutor who can teach Maths & English to students unable to attend education. The desired SEMH Tutor will be working 1:1 with students with social emotional and mental health needs and emotional based school refusal. The Tutor role is long term to provide consistency for students and work towards breaking down barriers to learning. Sessions can be one - five hours per day (during or after school hours) depending on the student's needs.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEMH Tutor you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Primary or Secondary
Experience of working with students with EHCPs
An ability to plan and deliver Maths and English sessions
A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people.
