Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to support and inspire young learners in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) environment? If so, we have the perfect role for you!

Role Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated support to students with SEMH needs in a PRU setting
Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized learning programs
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Promote social and emotional development through targeted interventions
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement effective strategies
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and reports as necessary

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs, preferably in a PRU or similar setting or from a care background.
Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with challenging behaviours
Relevant qualifications or training in education or support work (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
