Job Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant

Location: Newham

Salary: £85-95 per day (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Implement tailored interventions and support plans to meet the individual needs of students.
Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.
Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies as necessary.

Requirements:

SEMH Teaching Assistant - You should have experience or qualifications in working with students with SEMH needs.

Effective Communication - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals.

Patience and Empathy - A caring and compassionate nature, with the ability to connect with and support students effectively.

Document Requirements:

Right to Work in the UK: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
Enhanced DBS Certificate: A current enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to process a new application through GSL Education.
Professional References: Two professional references related to child care or education.
Updated CV: A current and comprehensive CV.
