Teaching Assistant - SEMH Specialist Join our dedicated team and make a significant impact in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to support two students who require specialized attention and care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Personalized Support: Provide tailored one-to-one assistance to two students with SEMH, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
* Behavior Management: Utilize effective strategies to manage challenging behaviors and promote a positive learning environment.
* Collaborative Approach: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications:
* Experience working with children with SEMH or similar needs.
* A patient, empathetic approach with strong communication skills.
* Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields are preferred but not essential.
