Your day-to-day role may include:

Supporting pupils with their learning and development
Building positive and trusting relationships with students
Providing one-to-one and small-group support
Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills
Supporting learning activities both inside and outside the classroom
Accompanying students on educational visits and activities in the local community
Working as part of a supportive and dedicated school team

We are looking for someone who is:

Caring, patient and understanding
Enthusiastic and willing to get involved
Resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations
Passionate about supporting children and young people
A great team player with a positive attitude
Experienced in working with individuals with special educational needs and/or additional needs
Previous experience within an SEMH, SEN or specialist education setting would be highly desirable.

Essential Requirements
