GSL Education is Hiring: SEMH Teacher in Westminster
GSL Education is seeking dedicated and passionate SEMH Teachers to join our team in Westminster. If you are committed to supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEMH.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Manage classroom behaviour and promote social and emotional development.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting student development.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications or training in SEMH education (desirable but not essential).
