Position: SEMH Teacher

Subject Specialization: Maths and English
Location: Waltham Forest
Salary: £150 - £220 per day (based on experience)

GSL Education is seeking an experienced SEMH Teacher to join one of their vibrant and inclusive client schools in Waltham Forest.

As an SEMH Teacher, you will:

Develop and implement tailored learning plans that cater to the individual needs of students with SEMH.
Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment where all students can thrive.
Use innovative and engaging teaching strategies to foster a love of learning.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and reports.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students.
Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection in all interactions.
Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Applicants must have QTS in the UK, demonstrating they have met the professional standards required for teaching.
Relevant Degree: A bachelor's degree in education or a related field is essential. Specialization in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) is highly advantageous.
Additional SEN/SEMH Training: Any additional certifications or training related to SEN or SEMH, such as courses on behaviour management, child psychology, or special education, would be beneficial.
Must have teaching knowledge and/or experience in English and Maths.
Mandatory Document Requirement:

The Right to Work in the UK.
An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us.
Two professional child-related references.
An updated CV showcasing your relevant experience and skills.
