Protocol Education is looking for caring and resilient SEMH Support Assistants to work with children and young people who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across Primary, Secondary and SEND Schools.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support students who may face challenges with emotional regulation, self-esteem, attendance, relationships or engagement in learning.

What To Expect

As an SEMH Support Assistant, you'll become a trusted adult in a young person's life.

You'll help students navigate challenges, celebrate successes and develop the confidence needed to achieve their goals.

You may be:

Supporting students on a one-to-one basis
Helping pupils regulate emotions
Promoting positive behaviour strategies
Supporting social and communication skills
Encouraging classroom participation
Assisting with intervention programmes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
