Science Teacher - Cheltenham

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the learning and development of students in a KS3 / KS4 with additional needs, including SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health) and Challenging Behaviours within a PRU school.

The ideal candidate will be available to work part time up to 3 days per week. This is a part time position, and the successful candidate will be expected to start September 2024. There is also the possibility of a permanent direct contract for the right person, so this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a long-term position in a supportive and dynamic environment.

You will be paid to scale converted to an equivalent daily rate in the first instance, and if successful in the role you then have the opportunity to go onto the schools' books on a permanent basis.

Science Teacher Requirements:

You have QTS and or a relevant Science degree.
Experience working with children, particularly those with additional needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive and empathetic approach to working with children.
A commitment to consistent and effective support.
