Contract: Permanent, Full-time (4 days, 40 hours per week)

Salary: £27,430

About the Role:

Twenty4Seven Education is currently working with a prestigious secondary school in Wandsworth, Southwest London, to recruit a dedicated Security and Facilities Officer. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of the school's facilities and ensuring the safety and security of the premises. The role of the Facilities and Security Officer at Emanuel School covers a wide range of tasks including security and gate duties, minor maintenance, deliveries, events setups and other estates-related activities across the school estate. Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as a security guard during routine weekend hours (Saturday and Sunday 7.00am - 5.30pm)

• Performing Facilities Operative duties on Monday and Friday (6.00am – 5.45pm)

• Flexibility for a 12-hour weekend shift based on facilities bookings in the evening

• Flexible working hours outside of term time, Monday to Friday

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
