We are currently recruiting for a corporate Security Officer to join our team in central London, to support the team on site at a global music companies head office!

The site is extremely modern, making it a great environment to work in and also has up to date security systems and procedures. Due to the nature of the site, we need someone who is a great communicator, professional and well presented.

The role is a full time permanent position, working a 4 on/4 off shift pattern. You will need to be flexible to work Monday to Sunday, on a day and night shift rotation.

The rate of pay is £15.15 per hour.

We are looking for someone with over a years corporate security experience, with a Door Supervisor SIA License.

Your Time at Work
1 . Provide a safe and secure environment for staff, tenants and visitors whilst within the tenant's demise of the building.

2 . React in a professional manner, in line with the Company Assignment Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to all matters of security identified or reported to the team to assist in the protection of the building and staff/visitors within.

3 . Report all events/incidents to the Security Control Room and escalate to Security Supervisor/Manager, client and/or Allied Universal NCC accordingly.

4 . Record all actions through your security notebook, incident reports and OneNote, for review by management. This includes but is not exclusive to patrols, tasks set by the client or their subordinates, management of access control cards, incidents of security and First Aid, complaints etc.

5 . Be alert at all times to react to security incidents including but not exclusive to trespassers to the building, hostile reconnaissance, abusive or violent visitors into the building.

6 . Using appropriate and proportionate use of force, deescalate aggressive behavior and where required escort unwanted visitors or staff from the building.

7 . Whilst operating within the Security Control Room monitor CCTV and report any suspicious activity or incident of interest in line with your duty as a member of the Security team.

8 . Answer telephone and intercom calls made to the Security Control Room, responding in line with your proceedings, recording information and escalating as required to the relevant personnel.

9 . Monitor door alarms and faults present on access control doors. Investigating and reporting confirmed faults to the relevant help desk. Conduct patrols as requested by the client and detailed within the site Assignment Instructions, reporting and responding to any matters of safety and security within the building.

10. Activate and manage access control cards in line with the site Assignment Instruction and SOPs, escorting staff as required to the Security Control, Room for collection.

11. At all times present an upright and professional stance with a welcoming persona.

12. Assist the welcome desk team as required in time of busy periods and when vacancies arise through periods of breaks and absence.

13. Provide a continuous customer service and concierge approach to all staff, tenants and visitors to the building.

14. Undertake your role as an ambassador and representation of the brand.

15. At all times adhere to all Company Assignment Instructions, SOPs, processes and the Company Handbook

Our Perfect Worker
Over a years experience in the security industry.
SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License is required.
Good IT knowledge.
Experience in liaising with high-end customers.
Great communication skills, verbally and written.

Key Information and Benefits

22.4 days leave per year, with the option of accruing additional days leave from overtime worked (up to a maximum of 28 days).
