Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our security team, to work at a well known broadcasting channel's head offices in London! This is based in a W4 postcode.
This role is to work as a corporate security officer, so you will need to be a great communicator, used to delivering excellent customer service and to be able to deliver top quality security services at all times. Due to the nature of the contract, we are looking for people with over 1 year of security experience, as well as holding a valid Security Guarding or Door Supervisor SIA license.
The shifts will be working over a 7 nights on, 2 off and 2 days on, 3 off shift pattern. This will average at 54 hours per week. You will need to be flexible to work Monday to Sunday, for day and night shifts.
The rate of pay is £12.03 per hour.
Your Time at Work
The duties of the role will include:
Patrols, internally and externally.
Meet and Greet.
Response to emergencies on site, including fire alarm activation and first aid.
Liaising with the relevant authorities.
Incident report writing.
Access and Egress control.
Monitoring of passes and ID badges.
Escalating breaches to the security management on site.
Our Perfect Worker
You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.
A valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Badge.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be responsive to the client's needs and work in partnership with the client and other suppliers to support the delivery of the services.
Must be pro-active in your duties, be able to work on your own initiative and work with others.
Must be able to work under pressure, be able make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations.
Strong knowledge of site processes and procedures, and aptitude for learning and applying such.
