Security Manager
Rate: £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 10-12 hours per day
Duration: Initial 12 weeks (with potential extension)
Equipment: Laptop & vehicle provided
Location: Grays, RM16 5UZ
We are recruiting an experienced Security Manager to oversee security operations on a major infrastructure site. You will lead the security function, manage personnel, ensure compliance with security protocols, and maintain a safe, controlled environment for all staff and contractors, Grays, RM16 5UZ.
Key Responsibilities
Managing all site security operations and personnel
Overseeing the security contractor and monitoring performance
Implementing and maintaining the Security Management Plan (SMP)
Managing security incidents, investigations and reporting
Coordinating access control, CCTV and wider security systems
Conducting regular security inspections and audits
Liaising with internal teams, external agencies and key stakeholders
Ensuring all security personnel are trained, competent and compliant
Producing security reports and performance updates
Supporting emergency planning and continuous improvementRequired Qualifications
SMSTS or SSTS
Managerial CSCS CardAbout You
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
Confident managing teams and contractors
Able to follow strict security protocols and procedures
