Security Guard
Location: Watford, WD25
Salary: Negotiable
Hours: 6:00am to 17:15pm Monday– Friday, Alternate Saturdays 7:00am to 16:15pm
About The Role:
As the Security Guard you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, customers, and staff. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle a variety of situations calmly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
* Liaise with the store manager on any aspect of theft or security.
* Check for customers who behave suspiciously, and carry out search of suspects.
* Check and collect customer receipts.
* Patrol all areas of the shop, including blind spots not just exits and counter.
* Patrol back yard and alleyway.
* Check showroom, basement, and storeroom.
* Log all incidents to discuss with the store manager on a weekly basis.
* Carry out random spot checks
* Check premises at close of day and leave with the last member of staff.
* Monitor traffic wardens outside the store and notify any customers who have vehicles parked outside.
* Check delivery tickets on company vehicles.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential
* SIA Licence
* Honesty and integrity
* Good observational skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* The ability to handle sensitive situations and to use initiative to make quick decisions
