Role: Section Engineer
Company: Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor
Location: Chipping Warden, Oxfordshire
Day rate: £400 - £450 PAYE
Project: HS2
Randstad is currently looking for a Section Engineer to work with a well established Civil Engineering Contractor working on HS2 in Chipping Warden.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a dedicated team of engineers and technicians within your section, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient project delivery.
Oversee the planning, design, and execution of critical engineering tasks, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Collaborate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and subcontractors to drive progress and resolve any challenges that may arise.
Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to monitor construction activities, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions.
Utilise your expertise to optimise work flows, streamline processes, and achieve project milestones within budget and schedule constraints.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in civil engineering, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards shared goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, construction techniques, and industry regulations.
