Description:
Our client, a leading organisation in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Section Engineer for a contract role. This exciting opportunity involves working on major infrastructure projects with a particular focus on highways.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing and managing site operations
Setting out and ensuring precise execution of engineering plans
Leading and directing a team of Site Engineers to achieve project objectives
Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety and quality standards
Coordinating with stakeholders and managing project schedules
Conducting site inspections and ensuring accurate documentation of progress
Reporting on project status and any issues to senior management
Implementing best practices and innovative solutions to improve efficiency
Job Requirements:
Experience in civil engineering, specifically in major infrastructure projects
Relevant experience in highways engineering
Proven knowledge and experience in setting out
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and lead a team of Site Engineers
Understanding of industry safety and quality standards
Excellent communication and organisational skills
National Highways Passport Card is desirable
