Protocol Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic, dedicated, and supportive Teaching Assistants to work across a range of secondary schools in Kirklees. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential and can provide valuable support both inside and outside the classroom.

This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers, support workers, and individuals with relevant experience working with young people.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students within lessons to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
Work alongside teaching staff to deliver high-quality educational support.
Provide one-to-one and small group interventions where required.
Promote positive behaviour and support students' social and emotional development.
Assist in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Support students with additional learning needs where required.

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach.
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the DBS Update Service is ESSENTIAL. Due to safeguarding requirements, applicants without an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service will not be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
