Protocol Education is recruiting motivated and caring Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Calderdale. We are looking for professionals who can build strong relationships with students, support learning in the classroom, and contribute to a positive school environment.

The Role:

Provide classroom support to teachers and students across a range of subjects.
Deliver focused one-to-one and small group support sessions.
Assist students in overcoming barriers to learning.
Support students with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs when required.
Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and attendance.
Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.

Essential Criteria:

Previous experience working with children or young people.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Positive, professional, and adaptable approach.
A genuine passion for supporting young people's development.
An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the DBS Update Service is a mandatory requirement. This is non-negotiable and applicants must hold a current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service before being considered for school placements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
