Secondary Teacher - Darlington

We are recruiting on behalf of secondary schools across Darlington seeking dedicated and passionate Teachers to support students in KS3, KS4 and KS5 settings. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young people, deliver engaging lessons and make a lasting impact on student's academic progress and personal development.

About the role:

Teaching students aged 11-19 across KS3, KS4 and KS5, depending on your subject specialism and experience.
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback and target setting.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to support student outcomes.
Contributing to the wider life of the school, including pastoral responsibilities where required.Pay, Hours and Contract:

Pay: £140 - £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time, temporary position with the potential to become permanent
Start Date: September 2026
Location: DarlingtonExperience, Qualifications and Requirements:

Previous experience teaching within a secondary school setting is essential.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality education.
Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
Ability to engage, motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Right to work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or be willing to process a new application.
