Secondary Supply Teacher Needed in High Wycombe
Supply Desk are working in the High Wycombe area to hire a Seondary Supply Teacher who has prior experience, or is a newly qualified Secondary Supply Teacher. The role is flexible to work when you need to and we are offering competitive rates.
Role: Secondary Supply Teacher
Location: High Wycombe
Duties vary but can include:
Support with teacher duties/deliver lessons and manage classroom
Help pupils develop and learn while helping the pupils through challenges
Supervising pupils in the playground, dining hall, cloakrooms and in class
Helping students develop life skills and encourage them to have a positive outlook
Keeping records of each pupil’s progress
Working 1-1 with students, in small groups or helping with a class collectively
Expected to know the secondary national curriculum at a high level
To register for supply work, you MUST meet the following criteria:
Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
Hold, or be willing to carry out, an enhanced DBS
Be able to provide professional references to cover you for at least 2 years.
Be a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher.
Have good classroom management and ability to engage a diverse range of pupil abilities.
Be flexible and willing to go the extra mile to support pupil progress
Able to meet new people and build relationships
Able to commute to High Wycombe and the surrounding areas
