Due to increasing demand from our partner secondary schools across Watford and the surrounding areas of Hertfordshire, Supply Desk is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Supply Teachers to join our growing supply team from September 2026.

Whether you're looking for one day a week, several days each week or full-time supply work, we'll help you find opportunities that fit around your lifestyle.

Your Role

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and, where appropriate, Key Stage 5
Teach your specialist subject or provide general cover in local secondary schools
Create a positive and purposeful learning environment
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Ensure students remain engaged and make progress throughout the lesson
Provide clear feedback to the regular class teacher or department at the end of the day
