Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

As a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEND
Support pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), learning difficulties, and additional educational needs
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement
Work closely with teachers, SENDCOs, and pastoral teams to support individual learning plans
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Teaching Assistant in Secondary SchoolsExperience supporting young people with SEND, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, or complex learning needs is highly desirable.
