Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant - South London
Pay: £95 - £115 per day
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Or Daily supply if Applicable
Contract: Long-term

Remedy Education are looking for a committed and proactive Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people with additional needs thrive both academically and emotionally.
You will be working with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting a range of SEN including autism, ADHD, social and emotional needs, and mild learning difficulties. The school has a strong, welcoming team, and offers ongoing guidance and training for the right person.
The role:
* Supporting students with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Helping pupils access the curriculum and stay engaged in class
* Working closely with teachers, SENCO and support staff
* Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing
* Creating a safe, supportive and encouraging learning environment
* Contributing to progress tracking and feedback
The ideal candidate:
* Experience supporting SEN pupils (secondary experience preferred but not essential)
* Confident, calm and able to build positive relationships quickly
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Passionate about helping young people achieve their best
* Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
