Secondary School Cover Supervisors - Huddersfield & Surrounding Areas
Location: Huddersfield & surrounding areas
Start: September 2026 / ASAP
Job Type: Flexible supply & temporary work
Pay: Competitive rates, paid weekly
The 2026/27 academic year is underway, and Stafflex Education is recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Huddersfield and the surrounding areas.
If you're confident in the classroom, have strong behaviour management skills and enjoy working with young people, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
Supervising classes during teacher absences
Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans
Keeping students focused and engaged
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Providing feedback to teaching staff
What We're Looking For
Previous Cover Supervisor or relevant secondary school experience
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Confidence working across different subjects and year groups
A flexible, reliable and professional approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
