Are you a confident and outgoing individual with a passion for working with children?
Aspire People are in partnership with multiple secondary schools in Blackburn and surrounding areas who are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team. The roles will be full-time role Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, on a long-term basis starting ASAP or from September!
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparing the classroom for lessons.
* Provide support to students needing extra help with tasks.
* Aid teachers in managing classroom behaviour.
* Supervise group activities.
* Understand and support children with special educational needs (SEN).
What We're Looking For:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
* Experience with SEN is beneficial but not essential.
* Ability to work effectively alongside KS3 and KS4 class teachers.
Requirements:
* Two years of references.
* Enhanced DBS check (must be on the update service).
