Position Overview:
We are currently seeking Fully Qualified Humanities Teachers to join our pool of supply staff. As a supply teacher with Teaching Personnel, you will have the flexibility to choose your assignments and work on a temporary basis in schools throughout Liverpool. Whether you're seeking short-term placements, day-to-day cover, or long-term assignments, we have opportunities to suit your availability and preferences alogn with permanent positions for those interested.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum and school policies.
Adapt quickly to different school environments and effectively manage classroom dynamics.
Support students' learning and development by providing engaging and interactive instruction.
Follow lesson plans provided by the school or create your own engaging and effective lessons when required.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic progress as per school guidelines.
Collaborate with school staff and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in education.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
Proven experience teaching humanities at the secondary level, preferably in a UK-based school setting.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different teaching environments.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Flexibility and willingness to embrace new challenges and opportunities.
