Position: Sea Freight Operations - LCL
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Salary: up to £35,000 (DOE)

We are seeking a skilled LCL Sea Freight Import Operator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the importation of Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments via sea freight. You must have a strong background in freight forwarding operations, with experience dealing with LCL sea freight imports, import regulations and customs clearance procedures.
Your key responsibilities as an Import Coordinator - Sea & Road Freight:
Complete start-to-finish import consignments via sea freight
Responsible for the day to day running of allocated LCL import trades
Create bookings from the origin
Provide freight rates, quotes and pricing solutions for customers
Responsible for the day to day running of allocated LCL import trades
Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines and various carriers
Track and update shipment statuses in the company's system and provide regular updates to clients
Complete import customs entries via CDS
Ensure compliance with import regulations and trade compliance lawsBenefits:
