Sea Freight Import Clerk
Location: South Liverpool
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Employment Type: Permanent
Holiday Entitlement: Initially 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays.
Our well-established international shipping and logistics client, situated in South Liverpool, is currently in search of a meticulous and experienced Sea Freight Import Clerk. This pivotal role entails overseeing the import procedures originating from various global destinations. We offer a competitive basic salary of up to £30,000, coupled with a structured Monday to Friday work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing full end-to-end import procedures with precision and efficiency.
Receiving, meticulously processing, and maintaining shipping documentation.
Issuing timely notices of arrival and delivering accurate clearance instructions to clients.
Engaging in seamless communication and collaboration with colleagues and clientele worldwide.
Coordinating deliveries promptly and effectively as required.
Facilitating the seamless processing of purchase orders and the accurate generation of invoices.
Maintaining and updating internal systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Candidate Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in sea freight import operations.
Exceptional customer service skills and a keen eye for detail.
Strong organisational capabilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in computer skills, enabling effective navigation of digital platforms.
