Job Description: As a Senior Lab Technician, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide the next generation of scientists and innovators. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and maintaining the school's science laboratories and equipment.
Assisting teachers and students in conducting experiments and investigations.
Demonstrating proper lab techniques and safety procedures to students.
Preparing and organizing lab materials, chemicals, and equipment for classes.
Collaborating with science faculty to develop and improve lab experiments.
Providing technical support during science-related extracurricular activities and events.
Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the school's science facilities.
Maintaining accurate records of lab supplies and equipment inventory.
Assisting in the setup and cleanup of experiments and laboratory spaces.Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
Previous experience working in a school or educational environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Passion for education and the ability to engage and inspire students.
Ability to work effectively with both students and educators.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly laboratory environment.
