Job Description:
Academics are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join one of our secondary schools, located in the vibrant community of Hornchurch, London. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate young minds, fostering a love for science and nurturing the next generation of scientists.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and innovative science lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported in their academic journey.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices and curriculum enhancements.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level, preferably within a UK school setting.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
