Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for a new and exciting opportunity to support the education of young people?
 
Smile Education, Northwest is now recruiting for a full-time Science Teacher for a secondary school based in Failsworth and the nearby areas in Bury, Salford, Bolton and Wigan.

The role as a Science Teacher:

Preparing Science teaching and learning materials.
Providing guidance and advice to pupils on education and on their further education and careers.
Providing feedback to students and parents, through consultation evenings, phone calls or written communication as appropriate.
Contributing to department planning and self-evaluation.
Providing professional support to other teachers and support staff.
Attending departmental and school meetings, either during or after the school day, as requested. 
What do you need?

A teaching qualification with QTS and experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 in line with the British Curriculum
A valid PGCE/QTS
An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.)
Knowledge of the UK Secondary Curriculum and the subjects.
2 education-based references in the last 24 months.
A passion for teaching.
Good approach to behaviour management.
A determined, hard-working attitude.
